The Cloud Operations Engineer focuses on designing, implementing and operating private Cloud Environments per contractual agreements. Ensure client satisfaction through the engineering of solutions that meet specific contract requirements, standards, templates and customer expectations and Aligns Engineering and ITO Delivery solutions and expectations. The main goals are to deliver agile managed services, to continuously increase the level of automation of our work, to ensure high availability of the service and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Experienced, multi-skilled individual, who can work within a small team responsible for delivering reactive and proactive operational support end-to-end in VMware operated Cloud Environments. Provision, configure, secure, implement and maintain virtual systems (Windows and Linux OS) in a hybrid multi-tenant cloud environment. Manage private cloud Unified Computing System (UCS - VSPEX) infrastructure. Work change request to add CPU, Memory and Storage scheduling activities when required. Utilize scripting to build automation using standard technologies and tools. Implement private and public cloud infrastructure designs provided by architects. Support patching of ESX, Windows and Linux environments. Work on-call rotation schedule to provide incident response, trouble-shooting, and debugging in all infrastructure environments. Build and support custom SQL server VM's and systems to support all infrastructure tools (vCenter,vCommand,vRanger, SolarWinds, Trend Micro, Patch Management)
