Senior Commercial Contract Manager
CurrentDemonstrate an in-depth understand of all aspects of the agreement and collaborate with Service Providers to ensure a common understanding of terms and conditions.Initiate and respond to inquiries as the key resource on relevant OLG and Service Provider obligations.Actively look for and highlight actual or potential breaches in the contract, escalating them to the Portfolio Manager in a timely manner. Enforce stipulations of contract with Service provider when necessary, seeking out the support of the Portfolio Manager as needed.Leverage professional insight and expertise to interpret both the spirit and word of the contract, determine when to raise issues, voice concerns and engage relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Procurement) to address misalignments between parties.Reach out to relevant functional areas to help them develop a thorough and accurate understanding of their obligations to the contract, including administrative requirements.Maintain assignments for the obligation log and educate individuals on their assigned responsibilities (e.g. capturing and circulating changes); monitor adherence and provide constructive feedback where necessary to bring behaviour in line with expectations.Assume the role of quality control officer for the contract, leveraging insight and experience to develop a point of view on how the agreement should evolve over time.Manage the relational governance process in collaboration with Center of Excellence (COE) resources.Provide input and feedback to OLG’s Legal team and Procurement team on new contracts and RFPs.Balance commercial considerations with a view to maintaining the ethical standards associated with responsible gaming.
