With over 25 years of tenure at Berg, in roles including Resident Engineer, Project Manager, and Structures Representative, I bring extensive experience in successfully completing a diverse range of projects. My expertise spans grade separations, interchanges, and bridge construction, with a proven track record of effective collaboration with Caltrans, railroads, utilities, and various stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. Three large projects I oversaw include:1. Raymond Avenue Grade Separation, City of Fullerton/Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), FullertonManaged the $45 million project aimed at eliminating an at-grade railroad crossing to improve traffic flow and enhance safety for vehicles and pedestrians. My leadership ensured seamless execution and significant community benefit.2. I-10/Riverside Avenue Interchange, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) Directed the $34 million replacement of a five-lane bridge over the I-10 freeway with a nine-lane structure. To mitigate traffic disruptions in a busy thoroughfare, I established a Community Traffic Advisory Committee, successfully addressing community concerns and accelerating project completion on an incentive-based schedule without claims.3. SR-101, SR-118 and SR-23 Widening Projects, Caltrans District 7, Ventura, CAOversaw two consecutive Berg Engineering On-Call Contracts in the Ventura region with a total construction value of $115 million. Managed staffing needs, facilitated the selection and placement of support personnel, and ensured compliance with Caltrans standards. Responsibilities included preparing monthly reports, monitoring budgets and staffing, reviewing project progress, conducting staff evaluations, and providing training.

As an employee of Caltrans, responsibilities included completing and supervising construction inspection and survey, falsework structural analysis, post-tensioning plan review, documentation per Caltrans procedure, maintaining communication with the contractor to avoid and/or resolve disputes or discrepancies.
