Serving for 32 years in the Fire Service as a Firefighter, a Captain, a Platoon Chief, Deputy Fire Chief and now Fire Chief, Dave has safely and successfully led crews into the hazard zone during countless emergency response events. When things are at there worst, Dave is at his best.As Fire Chief and a member of the City’s’ Senior Leadership Team, Dave has been always passionate about leadership, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence. He believes in striving to be the best version of ourselves and demonstrates that the best thing a leader can do, is help others achieve their full potential.Coaching hockey for over three decades, Dave has been behind the bench in five provincial finals, winning three championships. With three sons, a granddaughter and a beautiful wife, there is nothing Dave loves to do more then spend quality time with family playing recreational hockey, fishing, or just laughing around the dinner table.
