Primary project representative for worldwide Buhler Aeroglide customers who leads and supervises the engineering and design teams for capital equipment projects from time of sale through commissioning to achieve completion on time and on budget while exceeding thermal processing specifications for customers in the food and feed industries.

Lead cross functional Operations team to plan and execute timely material procurement for prototype/production builds and development of the supply chain for production of the Seaglider product. I managed the transition into the selected CM coordinating build activities and depot repair to production schedules from procurement to final testing.

Launched the Manufacturing line to start up production of a UUV from Prototype phase through production. Developed Mfg and Test processes using DFx principles to launch and continuously improve the product and increase first pass yields.

Directed electromechanical assembly design engineering teams of up to 10 professionals in the design of product prototypes for industrial customers of this electronics design, manufacturing, and testing services provider. Created and maintained project and staffing plans to complete proposals and projects to schedule, cost, and technical specifications. Controlled financial, schedule, customer satisfaction, and technical details to develop successful outsourcing relationships as the primary customer contact.

Managed all aspects of this contract manufacturing company’s business relationships with customers for printed circuit board and small electronic assemblies totaling $10M in sales and 50% of the company’s revenue. Ensured objectives of programs (approximately 80% comprised of new product introductions) were accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Managed product development teams in the design, prototyping, and manufacture of primarily 480 volt UPS products with internal and outsourced engineering and prototyping for this uninterruptible power supply manufacturer. -Served as PCBA outsourcing manager for 9 UPS product assemblies — acted as liaison to external contract manufacturer -Introduced new products into manufacturing facilities designed by our engineering group.

Performed machine design, electrical maintenance, and CAD-CAM design for worldwide manufacturer of athletic footwear with $50M in sales and 1,500 employees. Completed projects that improved processes and delivered cost savings.
