About Dave Dallmer
What do you get when a kid never unlearns the habit of asking "why" over and over again? Me. But more specifically, I'm someone who has never been satisfied with the easy or obvious answer. I think there's always something to be learned by digging deeper, that's where the real gold is. Working in technology for the last ten years has taught me that many of us have a tendency to overcomplicate things. I try to personally get to the root of issues and provide solutions that are simple, effective, and practical. I'm in my third year as a solutions consultant, and in that time I've gone from not knowing the job existed, to top global performer, to senior team lead, and now to manager of the team. I was able to do that because I'm always looking for ways to learn and get better. Product demos and technical evaluations are my favorite parts of the job, but only if they're the kind that focus on validating real pain points and business objectives. Feature centric conversations with no direction- you shall not pass.
