During this request for proposal period, evaluated four different solutions with a personal focus on installation, operation, disaster recovery, training, metrics and reporting of each solution.• Expert in ad hoc data requests and reports to get data into or out of Neo4j, Oracle, Teradata and Kafka topics.• Lead development team to create an interface with the cleansing and matching engine, Trillium. • Leveraged existing Scala framework to standup a Kafka consumer and write to an Oracle instance for Data Steward validation.• Designed, developed and automated an ETL process that leveraged Autosys, PL/SQL, Scala and Kafka to ingest real time changes in source customer data.

Technologies: Informatica MDM, Oracle pl/sql, shell scripting, Autosys, Rest, Soap• Implemented Informatica MDM (master data management) and IDD (Informatica Data Director) for Monsanto’s US Business. Collaborating closely with Informatica and EMC to master Informatica’s MDM hub and IDD for Oracle.• Created a bulk lookup process to allow large sets of external customer data to be matched against our master data. This enabled critical business insights such as the ability to identify leads and prospect customers.• Delivered near real time ingestion for multiple data sources using the Autosys batch scheduler by streaming dependencies between various source systems and MDM.• Designed and implemented functionality to enable custom indexes on key Informatica cross reference tables which was a feature that did not exist. This substantially improved the performance on key APIs.• Enabled fuzzy matching on cross reference data which is not native to Informatica MDM. This solution allowed the retirement of a legacy system that was unable to maintain support.• Developed a method for match tuning which allowed easy review of results with our business users to prevent under and over matching.

Technologies used: open vms, JSS, DCL, Oracle, autosys, Linux• Designed, programmed, built and converted Monsanto’s US batch platform from VMS/JSS/DCL to Linux/Autosys/bash in a one year project. • Automated a process for changing over 500 Oracle and Active Directory application passwords and pushing out updated encrypted keys during a two hour outage window.• Simplified release documentation in our business process management tool Teamtrack. The change enabled development teams a simple automated way to generate a release for multiple changes.• Designed a service level agreement (SLA) dashboard that would retrieve recorded outages and give business owners a high level view of their applications health. This dashboard could be drilled down all the way to the specific outage details and root cause.• As Release Manager I coordinated changes with many teams in different organizations (Web, DBA, SAP, TPS Data ops, etc) to implement changes on a monthly release cycle.
