As a child I was inquisitive about anything that had circuits. When I was 7 I had come down with a very serious case of the flu. In my bed ridden state my parents, attempting to ease my pain, handed me a radio-shack catalog and let me pick out whatever items I wanted. I would go on to spend the rest of my childhood disassembling household electronics to see how they worked.The allure of technology has been a constant pillar of my personality through my life. I'm naturally interested in finding out how things work. This has kept me focused on new innovations and ways of doing things.My passions is automation. Whether it's developing custom scripts, integrations or leveraging tools like Ansible or other automation platforms. This is where I feel the future will be as the IT landscape grows ever more complex.My experience is diverse, and I like to consider myself a Jack of all trades, master of some. Being comfortable with many areas, but also being comfortable approaching new technology and capable of learning, researching and investigating effectively is what sets me apart.I tend to get along with people very well. I strive to have a positive attitude even when situations aren't ideal. I enjoy working with clients and I have been told I am very approachable with questions and never make people feel belittled. Whether it's clients that need help with an issue or it's a level I engineer asking for help on a ticket, I'm always looking to assure the other person that I'm obliged to help them. I've always appreciated this approach in those who took the time to get me to the level I am at or simply didn't make me feel inferior for asking basic questions. I love the opportunities to do the same with those around me.
