During the last 3+ years at Amazon, I’ve used computer vision and natural language processing to prevent customers from having poor experiences. I work with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to lead research from concept to deployment. I build systems using deep learning models written in PyTorch, which we host on AWS using many Docker-based services. I develop segmentation models, object detectors, classifiers, topic models, and most recently multimodal large language models (MLLMs).I received my PhD from Colorado State University in 2022, where I studied representational similarity, face recognition, and other human perception systems.
