Dave Steele has served as Executive Director of MobiliSE since 2018. Under Dave's leadership, MobiliSE has grown into SE Wisconsin's leading voice for transit and transportation alternatives. MobiliSE convenes regional leaders to advocate for transit and other transportation options, and oversees FlexRide Milwaukee, an innovative on-demand workforce transportation service that has served over 5,000 riders since its launch in 2022. A regular transit rider and bicycle commuter, Dave holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has participated in Harvard Business School’s Social Enterprise Initiative. A native of Milwaukee’s South Side, he resides in Milwaukee with his wife and is the father of three boys.
