Worked with business owners and development team to migrate multiple legacy applications to modern Microsoft ASP.NET MVC platform, significantly improving overall user experience and system reliability. In addition to implementation of software projects, was responsible for overall application architecture and user interface standards.

Managed both a full-time staff member and IT coop student position. Planned and managed voice, data, and A/V aspects of business relocation. Collaborated with assurance staff and IT staff to produce a custom-built portable data and networking appliance for fieldwork that featured data encryption, dual disk drives for data protection, and an easy-to-use LCD interface. Served as key member of technology transition team to achieve successful migration of information systems during Plante Moran merger.

Responsible for the availability, security, and functionality of a heterogeneous network environment, including routine maintenance, monitoring, and provisioning of systems. Supervised the day-to-day activities and professional development of IT coop students. Developed web-based applications including staff in/out board, lead tracking, and promotional web game. Successfully planned and executed migration from Red Hat Linux and Lotus Notes to Debian Linux and Zimbra Collaboration Suite. Implemented a secure networked off-site backup system to enable company’s technology disaster recovery plan.

Responsible for first level user support, computer assembly, application installation, and general troubleshooting of IT systems. Successfully planned and executed migration from Novell NetWare and GroupWise to Red Hat Linux and Lotus Notes.
