Responsible for Quality function, QMS and AS9100/ISO9001 Certification

Responsible for operational and quality success of Cortec with Asian Partners through training, implementation, auditing and maintaining an effective quality program. Provide information and leadership to qualified and motivated Asian Partners for 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsible for Purchasing, Inventory, Assembly, Packaging, Shipping, Logistics, and Receiving. Manage over 4,000 line items of inventory. Review and updating related QMS/ISO documentation to ensure compliance for ISO and SSQA audits. Successfully coordinated and updated inventory at two locations.

Responsible for quality at three locations. Improved on existing QMS, made available at all three locations and obtained approval of Applied Materials for operation of facility in Austin. Successful ISO 9001-2000 and SSQA certifications and assessments.

Developed corporate QMS with go of obtaining ISO certifcation. Developed acceptable levels to meet major customer assessment for ability to manufacture at Texas facility. Reason for leaving was due to closure of Texas facility.

Responsible for development and project management of coating facility start up. As Quality Manager responsible for two Texas and one California facility. Maintained successful ISO re-assessment and a recertification. Reason for leaving was lay-off due to 9/11 economic conditions.

Responsible for transitioning product line from Texas facility to Indiana facility. Also held positions from Technical Services Supervisior to Quality Manager.
