About David B.
I started at Georg Fischer Central Plastics in 2005 as a shipping order picker. Within one year I was promoted to team leader over material handling and shipping. I worked in that role for 6 years. At that point I was looking at getting into Maintenance and saw an opportunity to get my foot in the door by taking a mold set up technician job. I worked this job for one year before getting the maintenance job. I worked as a mechanic for about three years before getting my shot at automation. Since, I have began programming plc’s as well as Fanuc robots. I continue to program and troubleshoot automation as well as working on injection molding machines. In 2021 I started a new job with Associated Packaging doing service work on automated packaging equipment.
