Single point of contact (SPOC) to corporate client for all structured cabling and telephony break/fix service. Responsible for a managed service contract to maintain the 'telephony maintenance' account while keeping to high standards of customer process and contractual SLA's. Managing a team of 6no. UK based engineers and organising and implementing both voice and data infrastructure cabling works via internal resource or, the engagement of SP/s to install a variety of solutions - Cat5/e/6 and 6a, fibre, CW1308 and coax. Arranging and carrying out surveys, installation design, quotations, labour resource, materials, project delivery, invoicing, customer follow up's and all associated H&S documentation.

Basingstoke/Farnborough/Bristol

Single point of contact (SPOC) for internal users at 3 large multi building campuses; Basingstoke, Bristol & Farnborough. Responsible for in class training for all users regarding; telephony and voice mail management. Monitoring of telephone fault queues and resolve either via internal resources and or, service partner engagement. Keeping full records of all telephony circuits, internal engineer attendances and 3rd party hosting. Location management of all new voice circuits from user request to service partner communications with BT, Vodafone (nee C&WW) and IBM internal departments. Provision of annual leave cover to other location personnel as/when required.In 2000 I was part of a team responsible for the role out and training the whole of IBM UK, circa 27k users in mastering the new voicemail system and training sessions, training groups of up to 100+ users at a time.

Working at a customer location within the engineering team. Responsibilities included / but not limited to; maintenance and refurbish all Siemens Hicom telephones. Manage the service with the supplier to maintain telephone PCB board regular fixes. Maintain handset records and UK telephony stock management. Receive all deliveries and maintain stock records for shipments in and out of stores. Undertook engineering support activities for installation of structured and voice horizontal & back bone cabling.
