I was in charge of all operation on the North Slope to include the Deadhorse shop and remote camps. I had 2 shift supervisors and 15 employees who worked full time in the Deadhorse shop and 10 seasonal employees who worked at various locations in the winter months. As Operation Supervisor I worked with my shift supervisors to maintain daily operations. We construct design and repair mobile camps to deploy to remote sites for living quarters while work is being performed. We also maintain a fleet of heavy equipment to include front end loaders, off road dump trucks, side dump trailers, Steiger tractors and skid steers. I do logistics to get the camps and equipment to remote job sites located 100 to 200 miles off the road system. We construct and maintain state approved trails to haul equipment to and from job sites. We did environmental clean up jobs that include hauling contaminated dirt back to the road system for disposal. We also did all electrical wiring, welding, painting, building construction and full equipment repairs. As operation supervisor my job was to make sure this all happen in a timely safe professional manner.

I also ordered and track all preventative maintenance and repair parts. Modified equipment to operated in arctic environment. Supervised one shift of 6 employees, assigned jobs and oversaw shop operations, to include metal fabrication, construction and equipment repairs.
