Having gained chartership in 1989, I have developed a wide range of experience in most areas of professional building surveying across many sectors. My experience as a Diocesan Surveyor has seen me work on a variety of schemes concerning Listed and historic buildings. I am also an Incorporated Member of the Association of Project Safety, providing Principal Designer and Health and Safety Consultancy services to a large number of clients.I have extensive knowledge of building pathology and repair schemes and have acted as Expert Witness in building related defects, including giving evidence in court. I have had the privilege of gaining a broad range of project experience, developing schemes from inception to completion and on a wide range of values, from low value repairs to multi-million-pound new build schemes.Regular work types include major repair schemes; new build; large extension and refurbishment work; planned maintenance surveys; major demolition; asbestos removal; continuity management schemes; extensive custodial work; developing schemes from feasibility and preparation of business cases, through to completion and; providing technical advice.
