I have recently set up as a freelancer trading as Arts Organise seeking to provide support to artists, small arts organisations and the creative sector with arts and project management, creative producing and consultancy services.I'm formerly the Manager of the Borough Theatre Abergavenny. The Borough Theatre is owned managed and funded by Monmouthshire County Council.I ran the education, community and audience engagement unit of the National Concert Hall of Wales and the New Theatre, Cardiff. As part of the management team of the two venues I was actively involved in the councils arts and cultural initiatives.As part of this I was seconded to Arts Active as its Artistic Director, a participatory charity that ran the Arts and Education Network for the Central South area of Wales.I produce, direct, manage, instigate and create a variety of community, educational and participatory arts projects. I also lead the education and community module of the MA Arts Management course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and drama and have led on a number of youth theatre and community projects in a freelance capacity..I'm particularly interested in projects and initiatives that allow people to voice ideas, concerns and positions through high quality arts activities.I am a graduate of the CLOA Leading Learning programme through Arts Development UK.
