Managing a highly skilled Federal team who has enabled UKG to be the dominant provider of Workforce Management Solutions for the Federal Government. The team has rebuilt our go to market approach by creating a new Federal solution and pricing model which is being broadly adopted by the Federal market. The team continues to grow our market penetration which now exceeds 75% of the Civilian Federal space and has experienced over 600% license revenue growth over the past 3 years.

Responsibilities include managing a team focused on Federal Government clients. In this role, I am leading a team of direct sales, partner management, lead development, lobbyists and marketing personnel to further develop and grow the Federal Government Sector business. Managed the highly successful Public Sector and Education Verticals in the NorthEast. This team continues to dominate competition in State Government, Municipalities and in HIED. Registered lobbyist status in MA and NY. In my initial assignment, I rebuilt an unsuccessful sales territory thru both attrition and skills enhancement to become the #1 performing Enterprise sales team in North America. The team continued to perform at the highest levels and to close new business at accounts such as JP Morgan, Ingersoll Rand, Polo, City of New York and more.

Responsibilities ranged from the creation of sales messaging, the definement of strategies and tactics and the coordination of both direct and channels based sales. During my tenure, I was instrumental in changing the sales direction from a direct model to a channel based selling model where major systems integrators such as IBM, Unisys and Accenture were engaged to sell our offerings.

I was originally engaged by Manugistics to start the Federal Government practice. This was a "greenfield" operation where I was sanctioned to build a team, define the strategy and execute the tactics. This sales organization proved to be highly successful resulting in revenues of over $50 million in its first year of operation. I was then asked to focus on a troubled market for the company, namely the Industrial/Manufacturing sector. Key accomplishments included the achievement of 140% of assigned goals and recognized as #2 in global sales. Global responsibility for directing sales to the General Electric account and sold applications to two new Divisions resulting in a 225% increase in sales to GE.

This start up software company was focused on the Supply Chain Execution arena. Developed a Major Accounts Sales Program with the goal of expanding Optum’s presence and revenue in defined accounts. Achieved successes at the U.S. Navy, Lucent and CHS. Responsibilities were expanded to include the establishment of European sales operations.

Promoted to the position of Application Branch Manager for the New York Region. The applications suite consisted of the ERP solutions suite. The team included 15 direct report Application Sales Representatives covering the territory of NY, CT, and NJ. Successful attainment of $55 million of software sales and $26 million of Consulting. Initially hired as the Pharmaceutical Global Account Manager for Pfizer. Led a team of 5 sales professionals in the capture of both a $2.3 Million Clinical Software Application sale and a major $2.6 Million Global Database Enterprise Agreement at Pfizer resulting in the first electronic drug submission to the FDA.
