Involved in the sports turf industry since 1991, passionate about maintaining high quality sports grass playing surfaces and environmentally sensitive areas for golf courses, soccers grounds, gaa pitches and lawncare. Involved in golf course design and layout of Killeen Gc in 1999 and grow ins at Naas Gc and Navan race and golf course and Killeen Gc. Changing peoples view of golf courses, that they enhance the natural ecosystems within them from woodlands, water courses, lakes, wild meadow grassland areas. Currently I am involved in a polite project for operation pollinator at Naas Gc. Overseeding of wild flower areas to enhance biodiversity on the course. Turfgrass and golf course management qualifications via teagascPA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certification. Lectured at Gcsai and Fegga educational days. 20 years hands on experience in golf course maintenance on course design, grow-ins, drainage, sanding, trial work on moss, machinery, nutrient inputs, in house development and also contractors. Hosted Irish PGA, GUI & ILGU events. I have worked for private owners and members clubs ## experience is valuable. Past president of the golf course superintendents association of Ireland. Currently Course Manager at Naas Gc and work with a passionate greenkeeping team and course committee we also run etb funded horticultural course specialising in greenkeeping funded. Summary: important you never stop learning and you also pass on what you have learned.
