Managing our portfolio of customers in the hospitality industry across the UK and providing them with brand support, product support and top class customer service, winning hearts and minds across the country.A versatile role involving good planning and time management, balancing customer tasting sessions, brand activation events, partner sponsorship and client meetings to make Drygate the stand out craft beer brand and build strong, lasting relationships with customers, trying to drive volume of sales and encourage uptake of Drygate brands in key customer groups.Some additional aspects of the role are event management and marketing support, learning about craft beer manufacturing and developing my knowledge and understanding of the drinks industry.Working closely with the C&C group, including the National Account Managers and Area Sales Team at Tennents Caledonian Breweries and the Marketing and Commercial Operations teams to optimal customer support in the venues.

Managing the design function and partner relationships for a global STEM recruitment business is a hugely rewarding role. We completed the refresh of the SThree group brand in 2022, positioning the business firmly as a candidate centric and people focused organisation with relationship building at the heart of what we do. In 2014, I moved to Arnold Clark in Glasgow to join their award winning in-house marketing team. The development of the company in the 5 years since I started was an amazing journey to be a part of. My design skills have flourished in such a positive environment with the emphasis here on working within the very talented team around you in an ever evolving environment, but always pulling in the same direction and learning new skills every step of the way. Annual reports, national campaigns, web page design and big events were some of the amazing projects I got to sink my teeth into here. During my time with the company, it has gone through it’s biggest rebranding exercise in it’s history and that continues to evolve and reshape even now. I have an abundantly greater understanding of branding and designing for a large brand since working for Arnold Clark and the bigger the business grows, the more important consistency and creativity have to be in sync to produce a coherent message. I got great experience designing for all the different car manufacturers and adapting to all their various brand guidelines too. I have had the opportunity to learn to work agile here and working in such a huge team also allowed me the opportunity to work in lots of different areas of campaign teams which gave me a vastly greater appreciation for all my colleagues’ roles and specialist skills that go into creating brilliant campaigns.

At Freight Design I worked in an industrious and creative studio with the opportunity to work with a fantastic team and some great clients. Working with Freight books gave me an in depth and invaluable exploration of publication design from typesetting to cover design. These skills have been a great pillar in my design philosophy and methodology to this day.At this buzzing studio I was able to express my creative flair and had the opportunity to work with blue chip clients including: Scottish Water, SP Energy Networks and Royal British Legion Scotland.

Partner in an illustration & story writing company www.tillyandtam.com, producing a weekly webcomic about two mischievous little dogs and their antics. The idea came from working on a new brand, we developed some of the ideas, secured a financial investment, designed and built the website and have started a merchandise range. Our current online following on social network sites is over 6,500 and continues to grow on a daily basis.

Working with creative agency zenelements, has enhanced my design skills and creativity. We have worked on everything from print to web, applying innovative ideas to come up with outstanding designs. The company specialises in web development and branding.

Completed an internship at Not Just Design straight out of University. Invaluable experience, working closely with the design team on a wide range of design projects including the design, installation and transport of the V&A 6 Architects competition, exhibited at Abertay University, The Scottish Parliament, The Lighthouse & V&A London.
