I obtained my Certified Public Accountant's license in the state of Oregon in 2001. I have been in the accounting field since 1997. I enlisted in the US Navy immediately after graduating from Illinois College in 1972. I qualified as a Nuclear Power Plant operator in the Machinist Mate rating. Shortly after this, I was accepted at Aviation Officer Candiate School in Pensacola, FL, being commission an Ensign in late 1974 and earning my "wings" in mid-1975. I retired from the US Navy in 1992 after serving two overseas tours, being part of the commissioning crew of the USS CARL VINSON (CVN-70), earning a Masters at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, and serving as Operational Test Director for two tours of duty.The focus of my work with Kosmatka Donnelly & Co LLP was corporate reviews and tax returns with a number of non-profit reviews/tax returns.Specialties: At Logos Public Charter School we work with home-schooling families by providing Educational Specialists to meet with the student and their family in the home once a week to review work, help with any problems, and administer Oregon required testing. the focus of my work at LPCS is to administer contracts, oversee payroll and PERS, and properly record all data for grant and state education accounting purposes.
