Role Overview:My current role covers the engineering and technical planning, designing, building, installing and maintaining the wireless email solutions across multiple platforms and technologies. Role Overview:A temporary Mobile Solutions Architect position within the Network Product Sales Group in Telstra Enterprise and Government division. The purpose of this role was to proactively work in the development of mobility solutions for Enterprise and Business customers. The role provided technical solution consultancy on the design and implementation of mobility/wireless data applications and solutions. Key Functions:- MDM Solutions: Blackberry 4.1/5/10, MobileIron and Airwatch- IPWireless design and troubleshooting- Devices: Sierra Wireless cards, Blackberry devices, IOS, Android and Windows Mobile devices (7/8)- Providing subject matter expert knowledge, advice around mobile device fleet management with a focus on Blackberry upgrade or exit migration strategiesKey achievements: POC for VALE Australia to manage a mobile fleet at mining site using a number of different OS devices through Airwatch (management provided by MSC Mobility) over their Telstra IP Wireless Port

Role Overview :The position was to support a Solutions Architect role within the Queensland office. I provided labour and hardware/software costings of the solutions presented. Working closely with the bid manager to ensure costings were in-line with RFP’s . I was involved in the design and development of network and computing infrastructure.Key Functions:- Developing and undertaking client requirements analysis- Facilitating client workshops for re-engineering processes - Documenting solutions to complex technical problems - Developing and maintaining business requirements and design specifications- Developing and maintaining system requirements and design specifications- Providing specialist technical advice to relevant team members - Providing project management support

Role Overview:My primary function was to provide one stop IT solutions to the most senior executives within Telstra and other designated partners. The role constituted a complete ownership of all IT related issues. The clients were assigned to individual consultants within a portfolio structure. The role was a one on one IT support structure that provided desk side assistance in or out of the office 24x7.Key Functions:- Server and Desktop Technologies: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows 9x/NT/ME/XP and tertiary knowledge of Windows Vista- Applications: Microsoft Office 97/98/2000/XP/2003/2007, Visio, FrontPage, Publisher- Hardware support laptops by Dell, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Sony, HP and ACER. Wireless technologies Sierra/Maxon CDMA, 3G & GPRS PCMCIA Cards- Design/implement and support wireless solutions in clients home environment covering hardware recommendations, security options (Mac Filtering, WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA-Enterprise) VPN access via PPTP and IPSec and support of ADSL/Cable/Satellite/Dial-up access - Provide training for clients on applications and help tailor software solution needs to meet their requirements- Document and communicate ‘tailored’ solutions within the Executive Support Group to better improve services nationally- Team leading functions when manager absent

Role Overview :I provided Level 2 support to desktop service centre staff and completed service requests within SLA time frames.Key Functions:- Good working knowledge of CLS3 and CLS4 environments- Working knowledge of all service centre tools such as PMAssist, Solve, Netware Administrator and Syscon. (Netware 3.1)- MCP level support of the AD environment- Monitor and assist with product rollouts within the change management process- Assisted CLS4 team with migrations- Managed major project for the deployment of DHCP within the Brisbane offices- Liaison with Messaging Products to scope and design an Outlook support solution within the service centre environment - Desktop support with the SOE listed range of products- Process document creation- Team leading

Role Overview :Network administration within the Network operations team was segmented into smaller teams. My primary function was within the Storage Management team but I also spent time within the infrastructure and server build teams.Key Functions:- Netware server builds for deployment and rollout of CLS4 company wide- HP open view tool used to trouble shoot network equipment failure and to assist with pre-emptive network management- Netware Administrator/Syscon – container object creation. (Groups, printers etc)- Capacity management of Netware file servers- Maintain problem management queue- Assist with the testing of companywide storage solutions within a team environment

Role Overview :I provided all aspects of LAN administration within The Telstra Mobiles environment. Telstra Mobiles during this time had a custom designed solution outside the Telstra SOE solution. The file servers were Netware 3.1 servers housed with FDDI infrastructure. The desktop environment was Windows 3.1.Key Functions:- Netware 3.1 server builds and deployment- Good knowledge of Token ring environments- Microsoft Windows 3.1 and Dos 6.22 Knowledge- Problem management in the form of desk side assistance for all the various departments within Telstra Mobiles- Application support for Microsoft Word 2, Excel 4/5 and Access 2 databases and third party programs such as ABC flow charter, MapInfo etc.- Staff movements; Setup and install new PC’s- Liaise with vendors for timely repair of IT related equipment- Assist senior team members with major projects- Assist with migration to CLS environment
