David Bray's role involves working with organizations to break the uncomfortable tension associated with conflict. By teaching his clients to think differently about how they react to conflict, he retrains them to think, talk, act, and sustain the momentum of their newly developed behavior in a way that is productive. Because of his unique experiences as a consultant, public school administrator, professor, mentor, and work with homeless families, he has the requisite skills to create solutions and strategies that are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of his clients. He firmly believes that many of the conflicts faced in today’s society would not have occurred IF the strategies he teaches were implemented. He is certified through the "Ambassadors of Reconciliation" Organization. He has presented at Wisconsin State Teachers’ Conventions, been the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship Award, been nominated for the Madison Metropolitan “Distinguished Service Award”, served as the President of the Madison Metropolitan School District’s Administrators’ Association, received the “National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence” Award on behalf of his school, and has served as an interim public school principal at eight different Madison schools since his retirement.
