Six decades' experience helping businesses and individuals resolve disputes involving claims of personal injury, defects in premises and products, business transactions, municipal police and fire departments' roles and actions, professional responsibility and legal ethics.I have been a Certified Federal Court Mediator for the United States District Court for the W.D.N.Y. since 2005 and have mediated and arbitrated to conclusion hundreds of Federal and state court actions, and private matters involving employment disputes, Fair Debt Collection Practices and T.C.P.A. violations, as well as commercial transactions and personal injury actions.I have taught trial tactics nationally, at Emory University in Atlanta and at The University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as organizing trial advocacy programs at The University of Buffalo. Currently I am a frequent speaker for the New York State and Erie County Bar Associations on topics of legal ethics and disciplinary matters. I am a past Chair of the 4th Department Attorney Grievance Committee for the 8th District and have been, since the early 1980's, a member (and past Chair) of the Erie County Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics, and currently chair the Bar Association's Committee on Grievances.Attorney Advertising - Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
