Branch Manager of the largest branch in the company. Responsible for driving sales growth through six commissioned sales representatives, building relationships with customers, and directing stockroom and office managers. A/R and P&L responsibility, staff development and on-site HR responsibility.

Store Manager on District Manager Training ProgramResponsibilities included: Recruiting and hiring, scheduling, open/close operation, cash handling, cash audits, etc. Ordering for national promotions, aisle campaigns, local and store only campaigns, merchandising planning and associate training for campaigns, product knowledge and sales training within departments. Operational responsibilities include: vendor returns, Haz-mat handling, training and reporting, freight planning, space allocation and prep, inventory procedures and accuracy and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities included sales and profit growth, ROI attainment, P&L responsibility, inventory control and asset protection, employee engagement, growth and development for 250+ team members. Responsible for a 200,000 SF distribution center, 15 retail stores and 45 independently owned NAPA Auto Parts Stores. Total annual sales volume approx. $50m.

•Planned and implemented strategic direction to manage day-to-day operations and service levels for a 175,000 SF distribution center. •Led and directed a direct staff of six including hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating performance with 80 indirect union employees and six managers. •Managed, negotiated, and ensured adherence to union contracts and managed P & L responsibility.
