I taught band in the public school system for 7 years. I was the head director at the middle school and assisted with the high school band. In my time there I learned teaching skills, how to manage a budget, and organize large groups of students. Alongside my teaching, I was the volunteer youth pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Crane, TX. Since coming on staff at Tangelwood Baptist Church In Odessa, I have sought to further my education at Moody Theological Seminary. I have 23 hours towards my M.A. of Spiritual Discipline and Discipleship. I am in charge of student ministries. I teach, organize fundraisers, and plan group activities. I fill the pulpit when the senior pastor is out. I have also helped start the Awana program, done basic graphic design, basic video editing, maintenance, and organized a week of church camp for a group of 6 churches.
