• Responsible for all purchasing/materials management functions for the corporate office and seven outlying offices in Alabama and Florida. Maintain all vendor shipment files and PO’s. • Negotiate with vendors for goods and services, negotiating the best possible price and services. Work with vendors to process all merchandise returns and update inventory in system.• Check and approve all PO’s for accounting. Responsible for inventory at all BCA locations on a monthly and bi-annual basis. Managed receiving department to ensure arrival of goods and monitor delinquent PO’s. Visit all company offices to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials. Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees and vendors. Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new preventive measures.

• Inspect and evaluate inventory management activities. Periodically inspect activities for compliance with policies, procedures, and directives for accuracy. Analyze reports and records activities, report inefficiencies to supervisors, and recommends corrective actions to improve operations.• Provide support to maintenance activities to ensure success of missions, both live and practice. Controls and issues bench stock property.• Plan and organize air transportation activities, including determining the supplies, facilities and personnel needed. Establish procedures for loading both passengers and cargo aboard aircraft, and implement any necessary safety precautions for handling dangerous materials, special cargo, mail, and baggage. • Inspect airlift activities, and recommend any needed corrective action, as well as providing any technical assistance that may be required.
