David is a Senior Lending Manager in Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI) and is involved in the assessment and management of all classes of residential development. David has successfully managed the financing of numerous development projects including PRS, social, private market schemes and developments under licence. David has over 20 years of property finance experience.Before joining HBFI in 2020, David was a Senior Manager / Team Lead in the Corporate Banking Financial Solutions Group section in AIB Bank plc specialising in corporate real estate transactions and leading large successful engaged teams. David and has over 20 years Corporate, Property, SME and Aviation Banking experience.David currently has the responsibility of managing a large team of 50 banking professionals who are each responsible for large corporate and commercial loan books. David is responsible for ensuring the overall performance of the team and assisting with the formulation of strategies consistent with the objectives of the bank. He is also involved in the active management and review of case strategies relating to over 1000 connections (Residential, Office, Industrial, Retail, Hotel, and Development Land) located throughout Ireland, United Kingdom and Europe.David has also successfully undertaken complex restructurings and has shown a capability to deliver creative solutions on non performing loans e.g. restructures, debt settlement solutions, asset sales etc.David has successfully implemented a number of recovery strategies across various jurisdictions – Appointment of Administrators in the UK, Fixed/ Floating and Share Charge Receivers in Ireland & UK.David has experience of leading large lending teams over a number of years and has a proven track record for delivering on organizational goals in a challenging environment.I have also been actively involved in deleveraging commercial loan portfolios and has been actively involved in several large loan book sales to a private equity firms.
