Overseeing the Championship Club's media and communications strategy, ensure quality output across the board and building relationships with local and national media.Managing the Rugby Operations side of the business, taking charge of player onboarding and registration, travel and kit management.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTSEstablishing video and interview content for the first time in the club’s history to successfully expand the reach and influence of the club in the wider community. Implementing content and communications structures across internal and external channels driving greater traffic and engagement. Achieving RESPONSIBILITIESKeeping content with all important club officials in order to cover any and all news stories that arise within the club. Managing the club’s social media presence to provide engaging and informative content for members as well as influencing the wider community. Successfully driving engagement across all social media channels, increasing reach and audience in the process.

Taking responsibility for the overall communications strategy for the OA Club through a variety of mailings and other content strategies. Acting as the editor of the annual magazine, The Griffen, managing all elements production from idea generation, content creation, editing and printing. Overseeing all Old Abingdonian social media channels, increasing reach and engagement through innovative as well as proven content strategies. Managing and organising a range of sporting and career based events across the country throughout the year in order to in drive engagement with Old Abingdonians. Working to build close relationships with Old Abingdonians in order to increase engagement and aid the development team.

Editorial responsibilities for the online publication. Interviews with players and coaches as well as coverage of live events.

Creating and curating regular news content for the online publication.

Creating live content for sporting events spanning Football, Rugby, Cricket, Netball Hockey amongst others.

Creating and publishing regular social media company to hit key KPIs for the company and promote the brand.
