Accountable for the design, development and operationalisation of a new integrated technology stack within the Intellihub Group. As the Product Manager / SME, I will provide subject matter expertise, including regulatory, commercial and strategic direction for the program to ensure delivery of a solution that supports high quality customer service and metering data services and scalability for growth.

Accountable for the complete transition, business, technology and operational integration of ActewAGL Distribution’s contestable smart metering business into the Intellihub business. This includes responsibility for the ongoing operation of the smart metering business during the remaining transition and integration period, including up-keep of end state architecture, enhancement of system and business processes, and ongoing stablisation of operational and technology systems to ensure maintenance of ACTIONM (MDP) and ACTIONMP (MPB) accreditations held by Intellihub with AEMO.

Accountable for operational management of contestable services, including provision of electricity metering services in compliance with national and jurisdictional regulations (e.g. National Electricity Rules, National Electricity Market Metrology and Service Level Procedures and other jurisdictional Acts or Codes as applicable). Other key accountabilities include operation of off market metering and IoT services, management of systems operation and continued development and support of other value-add services, leveraging new and existing technologies.Accountable for and delivered the transition of ActewAGL Distribution’s contestable smart metering business to Intellihub Group within the contracted transition period.

Accountable for development and operational management of contestable services as they relate to the provision of electricity metering services in compliance with national and jurisdictional regulations (e.g. National Electricity Rules, National Electricity Market Metrology and Service Level Procedures and other jurisdictional Acts or Codes as applicable). This includes strategic and business planning, development of change strategies and plans, operationalisation of new services and transition into business-as-usual operations.

Accountable for re-engineering current business processes, and developing customer management, metering and billing controls for electricity services. This includes quality assurance of allocated project products to ensure they are delivered to an appropriate quality within the specified timeframe and cost.

Specific role responsibilities included, but were not limited to: IT solution development; Functional Specification documentation creation; New/updated IT system test lead; Coordination of internal IT staff to deliver project deliverables; Subject Matter Expert for NECF Project team; Project negotiation with internal and external stakeholders; Business representative at NECF industry working Group meetings; System development, process improvement and stakeholder liaison; Quality assurance for outgoing process and procedural documentation; Creation of a Compliance/Reporting Framework for ActewAGL Distribution to allow it to meet ongoing NECF and other regulatory requirements; and training of staff across new/updated IT system, business process and compliance reporting developments.

Responsible for complete NUOS/TUOS & debtor management for ActewAGL Distribution. This also included liaison with internal and external stakeholders relating to multiple National Electricity Market (NEM) roles, ongoing contractor management, business & process development, and supervision of a small team responsible for all NEM interactions for ActewAGL Distribution in the ACT.
