Responsible for spending the development budget on the latest and greatest retail delivery solution of its time. We produced the first browser-based teller system on the market and developed early CRM, Internet and Mobile banking applications to go along with it. Helped our worldwide community become successful selling the solution to big name banks.

Retail Delivery Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Handled the marketing for what branch automation turned into when it expanded to include not only the branch, but also internet, call centers and CRM apps. Great to see how different parts of the world use such solutions.

Had some of the most interesting times during these years visiting countries (some are not there any longer and some new ones exist) and figuring out how to bring advanced teller capabilities to the banks of this area.

Hong Kong

Spent most of this year as in a special task force team in Hong Kong building and deploying a new branch system for a major worldwide bank. The system was later rolled out to 54 countries.

My first programming job writing Pascal on a super new multi-tasking operating system (no, not Windows or OS/2, but CTOS). Developed the middleware (yes, we had to build our own then) and application components of an award winning branch automation solution sold worldwide.
