I am the Security Operations Manager for the Detroit Tigers overseeing the security and operations for the Detroit Tigers Spring Training and Flying Tigers baseball complex at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakland, Fl and the venue security at Comerica Park. My previous role was as the Director of Security for Margaritaville Resort Orlando and Sunset Walk. I have previous experience serving in safety and security management roles for luxury resort properties, as well a serving as the Resort Manager at the Caribe Royale All Suites Convention Center in Orlando. My duties there included managing all resort departments to include housekeeping, janitorial, operations, maintenance and security. Prior to working in the security and hospitality industry, I enjoyed a 25 plus year career in law enforcement and emergency medical services with the majority of the time as a homicide detective. After leaving homicide, I led a large, organized retail theft task force and served as a senior training officer for the agency.
