Dispatch Supervisor
Current- Responsible for timely pickup and delivery of all customer orders within area while maintaining customers time expectations. Monitor driver’s activities and performance while providing appropriate coaching. - Maintain Milkmoovement with timely updates as required to ensure accurate information.- Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues. Inform and escalate service issues to management as appropriate. Maintain timely and professional communication with customers on issues impacting service. - Monitor driver’s hours of service to prevent DOT violations.- Accurately prepare and process data and paperwork including but not limited to maintain drivers activities in computer systems, activity reports/trip documents, driver’s hours of service, fuel tickets and other required items.- Responsible to update driver and dispatch information into dispatch system real time.- Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.-Utilize additional software as needed. Including Omnitracs and Lytx.- Assist in scheduling of drivers and training of new dispatchers.- Perform all other job related duties as required.- Participate in all provided training courses including Conflict Resolution Seminar and DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Requirements.
