Inventory Control Manager
CurrentManage, lead, mentor, select, train, and evaluate inventory control management and staff includingManagement of staff overtime, ensuring appropriate staffing levels Mentoring and development of staff for future leadership roles within TVH Manage inventory control department to ensure balanced scorecard objectives are set, communicated and exceededEnsures execution of daily cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and cycle counts are completed in the established timelineOversees inventory adjustments after verification of accuracy Provides oversight and leadership to ensure safe and clean work areasPartner with training team to identify training needs and deliver appropriate content to employees and managersReview and partner with Inventory Control Supervisor on employee performance evaluations Provides guidance to management on goal setting, career and professional development for team members Assists management with change management during systems and process implementations Identify and recommend areas where cost savings can be achieved without the sacrifice of qualityRepresent and oversee TVH’s annual inventory/cycle count audits and observations performed by an outside firm.Leverage expertise of departmental processes and procedures to identify and recommend improvements to processes, systems, and methods Document and report on monthly warehouse adjustments for all U.S. distribution centers.
