About David Cranston

Electric power sector enthusiast, working toward a future where we minimize the impacts of our energy production and consumption on human and environmental health. Excited about the innovation and ingenuity in our modern energy sector that has created a laundry list of technologies that cut pollution in the electric power sector, make the grid stronger, and give customers more control over their energy decisions. My work focuses on policies that will allow these technologies to achieve widespread use while making energy cleaner and more affordable for everyone. I hold expertise in DER interconnection (both process development and implementation) and many years of experience in project management, communications, research and analysis, and developing solutions in line with regulatory and stakeholder requirements. In a previous life I worked in immigration law (feel free to ask), and then made a seamless transition to a new industry. Always ready to go the extra mile.
