About David Crocker

I am an Executive professional with more than 19 years of experience in the Telecommunications and Technology industry, specifically in sales and project management.I have had the opportunity to work in different countries, with different customers and cultures, which allowed me to be a person and professional that is open to diversity and change. Each tender or project in which I have participated lets me have plenty of enriching experiences and new knowledge.During my career, I have worked on both sides: the execution area and the commercial area. This provides me end-to-end business understanding in a company since I know the implications and challenges that the companies manage for sales and the common obstacles and risks that may arise during project execution.I joined Cisco Systems Inc., in June 2016 as project manager for the routing and switching projects with Claro Guatemala. Since June 2018, I took the position of Regional Program Manager for Central America and the Caribbean. This role consists of building and deploying the tools and processes enabling resource sharing between the countries and across different organizations. I managed a team of seven (7) to ten (10) Project Managers in the region, depending on demand. Before Cisco, I had worked as Contract Fulfillment Responsible in Ericsson as part of the CORE 3 Sales Team. I worked in the assessment, presentation, and handling of objections for the offers in response to RFP´s (tenders). In addition, I participated in the negotiation stage in order to close the deals. For a long time, I was Network Program Director for huge Project Portfolios of important Operators in Central America and the Caribbean. As a General Manager of Visdom Invest, S.A, a service contractor (Civil Work, Electricity, Structured Cabling and Networks). My principal focus is on sales and leading the evaluation of new investment opportunities, implementation, projecting profits, return on investment, and risks.Right now I started a new challenge in Liberty Mobile as a Senior Consultant.
