Additionally served as senior Aviator Subject Matter Expert on all aspects of AH-64 employment and Aviator training for LSI Simulations Devices department.

Served as the primary advisor to the 82nd Airborne Division Commander and 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade Commander on Aviation Mission Planning, Electronic Warfare, and Personnel Recovery, Additionally served in the Personnel Recovery Coordination Center (PRCC) while deployed (responsible for over half the landmass of Afghanistan). Flew as AH-64D Tactical Pilot in Command / Air Mission Commander and Instructor Pilot.

Trained and evaluated prospective AH-64A and AH-64D Pilots on ALL aspects of attack helicopter employment including night vision goggles, night vision system (FLIR) and aerial gunnery. Managed a platoon of 14 assigned AH-64D Instructor Pilots conducting training on two simultaneous student classes. Trained over 50 student pilots per year.Personally selected for assignment to Egypt as primary advisor to the Commander of the 550th Apache Wing, Egyptian Air Force. Served as Detachment Commander for remote site in Arabian Desert. Often was senior United States official available for high level Egyptian-US meetings concerning US-Egyptian military relationships. Highly successful.
