My carrier in the crane industry started as a maintenance man in a steel facility. The company I worked for sent me to Crane Training USA Circa (1996) for training. I will forever be greatful to that company (Namasco Steel) for giving me the opportunity and this was the beginning of a rewarding carrier in the crane industry. Fast forward a few years to 2000. I took my first Job as a service tech with Thomas M Brown Inc. Thry were another group of great guys who gave me the opportunity to learn and grow. Thanks Brown family! Fast-forward to the year 2003. I was offered a job with Hoist and Crane Systems. initially, I turned it down. Mark Dunn didn't give up! He was a true salesman in every way and sold me on the job. I made the move, and together with Jimmy McManus and David Maniscalco, we went to work helping build the company. Fast-forward again to the year 2022, and Mark Dunn is ready to retire. He sells the company to Crane1. We were all a little nervous about the transition to new ownership, but Crane1 has worked hard to ease any fears or doubts. My role at Crane1 is Territory Sales Manager which is awesome because I still get to take care of the customers I took care of as a Service Tech and Field service manager. Many of these customers have become friends over these years. I look forward to serving them for years to come.
