About David Doherty
I am currently the Lead CNC production programmer as well as the manufacturing support liaison here at Taylor Guitars. My role is to create new CNC programs for our production team to use on daily production. My other role is to work closely with both production team and engineering team on fulfilling ECO's that come in through a service request system. When production submits a request I receive it and investigate what is needed to complete the request. When done investigating I figure out who or what is needed to get the job done. I also work closly with all R&D projects that come through our product development department.

CurrentI am the head Machinist for our tooling department as well as one of two production/tooling CNC programmers. I also run the tooling department down at our Mexico plant. I have 12 years of production experience with a well know company and also know how a lean process works. I take pride in my quality of work while getting the task done quickly.
