As the Director of Food Strategy at WWF-UK, I lead a team of experts and advocates to transform the global food system and address its impacts on the environment, people, and economies. With over 15 years of experience in agriculture and food policy, I have worked with UN agencies, international organizations, and public and private sector leaders to advance the food systems change at global, national and city/ regional levels.My passion for sustainability and equity stems from my academic background in sustainable development, and my early career in development consultancy and climate finance. I have contributed to key initiatives such as the UK Retailers Commitment to Nature, the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, and the Prince of Wales' Rainforest Project. I strongly believe that the just transition of the food system is fundamental to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.
