I’m a safety and risk management professional with more than 20 years of combined experience in both disciplines. I have worked on major oil and gas/power projects in a safety role, including the Talisman Lynx Pipeline in northern Alberta and the TransAlta Cogeneration plant in Sarnia, Ontario.Until recently, I held the position of Safety Prequalification Coordinator and TransCanada Pipelines. In this role I was focused on ensuring that all contractors invited to perform work for TransCanada met or exceeded their high safety standards, and had a safety culture that aligned with the Organization.Business colleagues know me as an intelligent and dedicated team player who can always be trusted to perform at a high level. I spend a lot of time understanding a situation before suggesting ideas.
