Coordinated 4 clinical trials in 3 countries with the goal of validating the use of 3D printed prosthetics amongst youth populations in the developing world. Supported users of a turn-key 3D printed prosthetics solution. Trained users completely unfamiliar with 3D printing in the proper procedures to operate printers and successfully design and produce parts. Gathered user data to bring back to the factory to assist in improving both software and hardware functionality.• Supported users through the treatment and aftercare of over 100 patients globally. • Demonstrated product at trade shows for various industry representatives. • Wrote user manual for Nia’s 3DPrintAbility toolchain which was deployed at all sites as well as used as marketing material.

Transitioned with FUS Instruments Inc. from a research incubator company to a standalone medical devices company. Was involved in sales lead generation and development through attending medical devices conferences as a company representative. Intercepted bugs in current software versions before they had customer impact through thorough system tests. Trained end-users in system operation and best practices. • Managed customer service pipeline for clientele across NA and Asia successfully addressing repair requests and upgrades.• Interfaced with clients in preclinical research labs to capture system requirements which were then implemented in later system models.• Successfully developed sales leads at Neuroscience 2014 (Washington DC), Neuroscience 2015 (Chicago) and ISMRM 2015 (Toronto).

Solely responsible for developing the software for an ultrasound guided focused ultrasound preclinical research platform. This included all hardware interfaces (clinical ultrasound imaging, motors, function generator, etc.) DICOM reader, error logging, backend data recording and user frontend. Also participated in all steps of development of the system prior to deployment including design review, SW and HW QA and end user testing in a pre-clinical research environment. • Developed C++ (with Qt, Vtk and Itk) software for electro-mechanical preclinical research system. • Created QA testing protocol for software and hardware products.• Devised validation routines to avoid failure modes at customer sites.

As a member of the applications engineering team worked to provide support, both proactive and reactive, to various technical issues experienced by Actel’s customers. This involved working on support requests as well as creating documentation for Actel products. • Analyzed, categorized and solved customer technical issues in an efficient manner, regularly solving upwards of 20 cases per day. Customers included large aerospace, government and military companies. • Wrote entries for technical user guides which were published for various Actel software and hardware products. These entries included tutorials and troubleshooting guides.• Sat on a software development core team where my role was to communicate customer needs to the factory. This role resulted in the implementation of several key bug fixes and feature updates.
