David Fernandes is a Embedded software engineer at ICT Strypes Portugal. He is proficient in English. During the time he was working with us, on his Summer holidays from college, he helped to test the hardware of our IoT systems, but also the features of our App, surprising me on the quality of his reports, being more thorough than I expected while keeping the task inside the time window I gave him. He also helped with the automation of the deployment of our IoT systems, sometimes having to resort to ambiguous documentation to program the scripts we needed and having the creativity to improvise, pushing through and being successful in the end. Lastly, he was also in charge of prototyping a product casing in Fusion 360, modelling the case and 3D printing it in resin, post-processing the print, check fit and repeat the process. Using Fusion for the first time, I saw him improving day by day and he even taught me a few tricks I did not know before!
