-Took charge of a total overhaul of AE 100 rocket avionics bay development through UROP-Integrated a Raspberry Pi based system to record altitude data and HD video-Create system to quickly and remotely download video from rockets after launch-Used results from test launches to improve system before manufacturing 10 more units-Apply strengths in CAD and 3D printing to design robust bays which can be quickly loaded and unloaded from rocket between flights and would protect electronics from damage in a 350 foot fall-Used hands on skills to manufacture 12 avionics packages-Systems were successful in recording altitude and video data with over 50 launches spread over two days-Continues to support the project into Fall semester as a course assistant

-Selected as Project Manager for 2019-20 to design a loose surface sample collector for the Artemis Program. -Exercise strengths in task delegation as well as in technical writing.-Grew membership by 60% over previous year, the largest Micro-g team in Illinois Space Society history.-Guide members through the whole engineering design, manufacturing, and testing process.-Receiving training on lathe and mill to help with the fully student designed tool.-Tool was passed all safety checks and was successful in all objectives during testing at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory

-Designed and manufactured a tool for use on the International Space Station for astronauts to detect and mitigate sharp edges on EVA handrails caused by MMOD impacts.-The tool was tested in the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) at Johnson Space Center in June 2019. -Used feedback given to us by NBL divers to improve the tool further.-In October 2019, the team was selected out of 4,300 submitted abstracts to give an oral presentation at the International Astronautical Congress in Washington D.C., winning for the Hons Von Muldau Team Award.-The project also won Technical Project of the Year from Students for the Exploration and Development of Space for outstanding creation and completion of a technical project.

-Use computational methods to solve optimal control problems using MATLAB and GPOPS-II-Findings from GPOPS-II used to validate other methods of active control-Control focuses on trajectory optimization for rendezvous with a space station in a circular orbit
