About David Garcia

As a Data & AI specialist for Microsoft, I enable enterprise customers to modernize their data estates, power business decisions with cloud scale analytics and innovate with AI on Azure. One of my favorite responsibilities is jumpstarting enterprise customers AI/ML projects, including Generative AI. I am based in NYC, and I am aligned to pharma and life science customers. I am also a co-chair for Microsoft HOLA NYC, our ERG for Hispanics and Latinos (+allies). I was born and raised in Florida and graduated with a M.S. and B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida (UF). I have prior experience in the oil and gas industry and consumer goods manufacturing industry as an electrical engineer. I love to learn, work in a team, and compete. In my free time I love to stay active playing sports, listening to music and podcasts, and reading.
