The North American Language and Culture Assistants Program is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain to provide North American students who are native speakers of English with the opportunity to assist teachers in the English in elementary, secondary or language schools in Spain. This year I taught in a secondary school named Juan de Juni Institute in Valladolid, Spain. This next school year I will work at Vega de Atarfe High School near Granada, Spain. In my work experience, I created and presented presentations, read to the class, promoted conversations in English, answered questions about English grammar and sayings, and organized and controlled games in English.
