I believe that good advice changes lives for the better. With career experiences that span senior management roles primarily in the financial markets division with National Australia Bank in Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Brisbane and Singapore and 3 1/2 years spent in Auckland with the Bank of New Zealand, I have developed significant financial knowledge and experience.Add to this a pragmatic, clear-thinking approach that is underpinned by a deep understanding of financial risk. Most clients I work with are professionals or executives. We create clarity about what their hard work should deliver and develop strategies for solving complex financial situations. I became a financial adviser to use the knowledge gained over a lifetime and my genuine interest in financial markets and the influences upon them to help people. That includes scale to bring multi-facted wisdom to bear and deliver the service that supports quality advice. I see myself as loyal and someone who seeks to deserve the trust of his clients. When asked how I would want to be remembered at the conclusion of my financial career, I express hope to be known as someone who had a positive influence, and as a colleague of good intention who set a good example for others.Personally...I enjoy spending the down-time I manage with family and friends. I am proud to say I have been married for 35 years and have two wonderful daughters who are working towards making their own valuable contributions. When reflecting on my career and the opportunity to live interstate and overseas I am philosophical about the benefits as well as the challenges, recognising that each move brought new opportunity and a broader perspective to the lives of my family members. My lifelong addiction is snow skiing but this is now being challenged by golf which I took up more recently. Skill building in a social setting...
