With career experiences that span senior management roles primarily in the financial markets division with National Australia Bank in Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Brisbane and Singapore and 3 1/2 years spent in Auckland with the Bank of New Zealand, I have developed significant financial knowledge and experience.Add to this a pragmatic, clear-thinking approach that is underpinned by a deep understanding of financial risk. Most clients I work with are professionals or executives. We create clarity about what their hard work should deliver and develop strategies for solving complex financial situations. I became a financial adviser to use the knowledge gained over a lifetime and my genuine interest in financial markets and the influences upon them to help people. I am proud to say I have been married for 35 years and have two wonderful daughters who are working towards making their own valuable contributions. When reflecting on my career and the opportunity to live interstate and overseas I am philosophical about the benefits as well as the challenges, recognising that each move brought new opportunity and a broader perspective to the lives of my family members.
