I was part of an ownership team that spun off the international operations from IDM Group during the financial crisis of 2008. Reporting to the BOD, I was responsible for operations located in Western Ukraine and marketing offices in London, Moscow, Edmonton, and Houston. We re-contracted and subsequently completed 120 million of WIP for Weatherford Drilling, delivering 5 rigs to Russia, Oman, and Crimea as well as other projects listed below. • Designed and built 80 ton carrier type rigs for Russia and Ukraine.• Designed and built a highly mobile 60 ton platform rig for the Black Sea.• Designed and built a 1000 ton barge rig mast for Nigeria.• Designed and built 500 ton slingshot type rigs for Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Ukraine.• Retrofitted an existing mast and substructure in Nigeria after a dropped mast incident on a competitors rig.• Numerous repair, survey, and engineering projects around the world.• Established a very high level of quality with consistent API audit scores of greater than 95%.

Reported directly to the presidents of three subsidiaries; NDIL, NDUSA, and Pool Well Servicing, I was responsible for all activities within the country of China. This includes rig building, recruiting, training, and procurement initiatives.• Established NDIL offices and commercial structure in China at four locations.• Delivered 78 large (275 to 500 ton) land drilling rigs in 18 months from the port of Shanghai to the USA, Algeria, Russia, Oman, and Libya.• Responsible for delivery of rigs to the port in accordance with the master shipping schedule’s demurrage dates. 2003 - 2005 Director of Technical Services NDIL Houston, USAReporting to the Sr. VP of Engineering, oversaw the maintenance department, documentation/certification department, and capital project department.• Supervised seven managers directly, and indirectly 80 international technicians.• Prepared capital expenditure estimates and managed mobilization of 4 platform rigs with budget of $60 million, recertified 6 land rigs with a budget of $80 million, and various other capital projects globally.• Completed 6 rig mobilizations in120 days for Saudi Aramco with a budget of $100 million.• Technical manager for the refurbishment of four shallow draft jackup rigs in the GOM, UAE, and while in tow.• Developed Nabors International’s Project Management System.• NDIL’s IADC maintenance committee representative.2001 - 2003 Senior Maintenance Manager NDIL Houston, USAResponsible for setting maintenance policy and practices for the offshore and land rigs operating at international locations. • Set up and opened two regional maintenance support and training functions centers in Oman and Colombia.• Restructured the support personnel cost allocation process from fixed to variable cost centers thus limiting the exposure to overhead during downward cycles in the market.• Managed the capital equipment planning process and developed equipment standards for the fleet.
