Hello, I'm David Gregory, a highly motivated individual with a strong educational background and a passion for political science. I graduated with Highest Distinction from California State University Chico, earning a Bachelor's degree in political science. Currently, I am pursuing my master's degree in Political Science at the same university. I was elected President of the Council of Graduate Students and will begin my term in August 2024Throughout my academic journey, I have received several prestigious honors and awards, including membership in Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honors Society and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I am also the recipient of scholarships such as the Mike Thompson Political Science Scholarship,I have actively engaged in research activities and presented my work at various symposiums, including the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 California State University Chico Political Science Research Symposiums, as well as the Spring 2021 California State University Chico College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Symposium.My professional experience includes serving as a receptionist in the Language, Arts, Mathematics, and Sciences Department at Butte College. In this role, I demonstrated exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, while also displaying leadership qualities. Additionally, I interned as a Peer Mentor at California State University Chico, providing valuable guidance, support, and mentorship to incoming students. Currently, I am doing an internship with the California State Assembly. I am dedicated to making a positive impact on my community and was actively involved in a firewood and heater drive for the DeSabla community following the Camp Fire.I
