Since leaving Viridor I've had a number of roles on a contract basis, I have set up major construction projects for AFRY- Fortum in South Clyde Glasgow UK. I'm currently working on a contract basis with Doosan as HSE Manager for the installation of the Turbine/Generator and associated parts on a multi waste HZi managed project in Essex UK.

Glasgow And Dunbar

I joined Viridor directly after finishing the Ardley EFW as HSE Manager for CNIM (EPC). I started at Runcorn up to completion of the phase 2 for approximately 5 months and have since moved to the Glasgow GRREC project which is currently going into the commissioning phase. I've also been visiting Dunbar once a week for the last 30 weeks overseeing the civil construction work to the site.

Cumbernauld Scotland

I worked for Wood group for nearly 10 years, the last three being based out of the Cumbernauld Scotland office although I had a fair amount of travelling to different sites as I was primarily looking after the field service side of things. My responsibilities were many including managing multiple sites across the group, visiting contracts and LTSA sites, actively participating in contractor groups including BP, membership of the Oil and Gas Step change. So from carrying out audits and inspections, delivering training, creating and maintaining management systems, investigating incidents and carrying out due diligence on the company acquisition's. So a wide variety of roles and responsibilities during my time.I started my time with them as part of a small team who set up the Steam Turbine facility based in Worcestershire, starting as General Foreman through to Operations Manager finally taking over the HSE managers role in around 2006.
